Lori L. Frantz, 45, died at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in Marion General Hospital Emergency Room. She was born in Marion to the late Donald and Coni (Hopkins) Owings. She was a life resident of Marion. She married John A. Frantz on September 11, 1989. He survives.

She was a 1982 graduate of Marion High School and attended Ball State University. She previously worked at Wal-Mart and Kmart, Marion. She loved music, art, cooking, cookbooks and puzzles.

Survivors include her husband, John A. Frantz, Marion; son, Evan D. Frantz, at home; brother, Randy (Penny) Owings, Marion; sister, Jill (Scott) Sordelet, Kokomo; mother-in-law, Virginia Frantz, Marion; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Cristy Owings; father-in-law, Max Frantz; niece, Amie Troutt-Sordelet.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2009 in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, 1341 North Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN 46952 with the Rev. William Fulda officiating. Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion at a later date..

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009 in the funeral home.
